Name: Holly Moore.

Company website address: www.makeevents.co.uk
Football team: I have to say my 11 year old nephew’s team who plays in Washington DC!
Favourite bar/restaurant: Chiltern Fire House in London. I went there recently thinking the food wouldn’t meet my expectations but it was amazing! Every morsel!
What’s your tipple: Gin with slim line tonic, I like to try different ones with different garnishes. Amarone for those chilled Sunday afternoons and black americanos – every day!
Which business person do you most admire: Internationally I admire Brit Bertino who owns Simply Las Vegas Weddings, Brit Bertino Event Excellence as she has separated her businesses in a really unique way. On top of running the actual businesses she lectures in event management and offers mentoring of which I have had some.
Favourite band/artist: Kylie, Kylie and Kylie!
What is your all-time favourite tune: Daft Punk – Get Lucky. It reminds me of sitting with my sister at her house in Washington on a sunny evening on the terrace. She lives over there so it makes me smile when I hear it.
Favourite book: Business wise the E Myth has been quite an inspiration to me and I am half way through Grant Cardone the 10 X way which is brilliant. My personal favourite is Memoirs of a Geisha.
Favourite movie: Harry met Sally!
Who would play you in a film: Well according to my team I’m like Glinda from Wicked. They say I am very happy for an Events Organiser and boss and when I walk in the office I spray glitter. Apparently I say things as Glinda would, like “You are capable of more than you know”, so maybe I wouldn’t have many lines to learn!
Favourite TV programme: Masterchef, quite ironic since I am a terrible cook!
Most visited website: Facebook, which I have deleted off my phone! I dread to think how many hours I waste flicking through it.
What is your preferred Social Media platform: Twitter but I am getting more in to Linked in.
Which four people would you most like to invite to a dinner party: Tony Robbins for ultimate inspiration, Jacqueline Gold for a bit of women in business girl power, Kylie… enough said… though I actually find her work ethic really interesting, Oprah Winfrey as I love her!
If you could choose one superpower what would it be: Looking in to heaven, to check if my Nan’s okay!
Interesting fact about you: I started out in business at the age of 12 selling pop star memorobillia in a magazine called Pop Shop!
What is your dream job: I’m doing it!
Downtown is… Part of the heart and soul of Manchester business.
