What does your organisation do: MDI is an organisation that develops transformational dance opportunities to local people, artists and audiences. An event producer it programmes a variety of dance festivals in the city and organisers dance events in its studio on Hope Street offering social dance classes and bespoke training.
We have developed a number of strategies that support our work such as Move on Up our dance and health strategy in partnership with English National Ballet, Alzheimer’s Society and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and RISE working to develop and celebrate diversity through African and Caribbean dance.
