Position: Chairman, Downtown Birmingham in Business. Director, Edwin Ellis Creative Media Limited
What does your organisation do: I’m sure you’re familiar with the great work of Downtown in Business in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Lancashire. My role is to help its launch in Birmingham using the extensive contacts and connections I’ve built up during a 20-year career in the West Midlands media, culminating in my most recent role as editor of the illustrious Birmingham Post. I’m also the co-director of Edwin Ellis Creative Media, a new PR, communications and publishing agency I’m in the process of launching with my wife, who is also a journalist. We’re actively seeking clients to work with so if you think we might be able to help your business grow, we’d love to hear from you.
